Eloise Rummel of Lubbock, Texas died on Thursday, May 11. She was born in May of 1925 in Elliott, Texas, to A.T. and Esta (Aderholt) Lemon. She graduated from North Texas State University in Denton, Texas. On December 24, 1946, in Vernon, Texas, she married Aubrey Rummel. They had three well-loved and cherished children, Phyllis, Ron, and Tom. Eloise was a teacher, a librarian and a secretary for Aubrey at National Electrical Contractor's Assn. She attended Second Baptist Church, becoming involved with the Sick Children's Clinic which was very special to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, J.W. Lemon and her husband, Aubrey. She is survived by her precious sister, Evelyn Tidmore of Vernon, TX; her daughter, Phyllis Woods (Bruce) of Brownfield, TX, and sons, Ron Rummel (Karen) and Tom Rummel, both of Lubbock; grandchildren are: Brian Woods, Brent Woods, Hayden Rummel (Laura), Mark Rummel (Melanie), Drew Rummel and Elle Rummel. She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews.

The Rummel family would like to extend gratitude to Covenant Medical Center, Beehive II Assisted Living and Hospice of Lubbock for their loving care. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Eloise's name to Second Baptist Church's Sick Children's Clinic or Hospice of Lubbock.
