Grace Louise Harrison, 92, peacefully went to be with her Lord Jesus in her home on September 12, 2016.

Born on September 28th, 1923 in Dodsonville, Mississippi, Louise was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Louise married the love of her life, Charles Harrison, on May 7th, 1949. Louise and her husband, Charles, moved to Lubbock, Texas in 1975 when Charles retired from the Navy.

She was known for her wonderful cooking which will live on in the recipes she passed down to her children and grandchildren. Louise had a kind, compassionate heart. She always had something cooking on the stove and anyone could expect to be welcomed into her home with a plate of delicious food. Louise had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren yet she never failed to show support, love, and care to all of them.

Louise is survived by her two daughters and sons-in law, Scarlet and Edward Bassingthwaite; and Betty and Lawrence Goff. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 34 great great grandchildren.
