Roy Dan Cotten, 76, of Lubbock went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at his home in Lubbock.

Mr. Cotten was born January 11, 1941 in Brownfield, Texas to Roy and Billie Cotten.

He graduated from Denver City High School where he met his wife of 53 years, Shirley Reis Cotten, who preceded him in death in 2013.

He was a loving husband and devoted family man.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Robert Cotten and Cheryl Winters of Decatur, Texas;...

Mr. Cotten was born January 11, 1941 in Brownfield, Texas to Roy and Billie Cotten.

He graduated from Denver City High School where he met his wife of 53 years, Shirley Reis Cotten, who preceded him in death in 2013.

He was a loving husband and devoted family man.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Robert Cotten and Cheryl Winters of Decatur, Texas; Tony Cotten and his wife Laurie of Lubbock; his daughter Pam Moody and her husband Paul of St Johns, Florida; sister, Annita Blair of St George, UT, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
